Of the 255,556 unique individuals who entered a drug treatment programme for the first time since April 2005, mainly for heroin addiction, 71,887 (28%) were successful in overcoming their addiction and have not come back into the system. If Kathy can point to a comparable record anywhere else in the world, the NTA would be very interested to hear about it. Jon Hibbs | NTA, UK
